Senior Management, Portfolio Management and Underwriting

Mr. Lane is a Deputy Head of Underwriting, Direct Investments of Monroe Capital. He is responsible for underwriting middle-market loan transactions and supporting various account management functions as well as closing loan transactions.  Mr. Lane has over 20 years of credit, lending and investment experience, with a particular focus on the healthcare sector.  Prior to Monroe, Mr. Lane was a Credit Officer at PNC Bank where he was responsible for managing and underwriting large and middle-market loans.  Prior to PNC Bank, he was a Vice President at Freeport Financial LLP where he provided capital and leveraged financial solutions to middle-market companies.  Prior to Freeport Financial LLP, Mr. Lane was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch Capital, Healthcare Finance; a Senior Financial Analyst at Navigation Technologies; Group Finance Officer at Heller Financial, Inc.; and a Senior Auditor Officer at ABN AMRO.  Mr. Lane earned his B.S. in Accounting with a concentration in Finance from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, IL and is a Certified Public Accountant.
