Senior Management, Portfolio Management and Underwriting

Mr. Weinberg is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Portfolio Group of Monroe Capital. He is responsible for overseeing portfolio management and manages a team of investment professionals that focus on stressed portfolio accounts. Mr. Weinberg has over 25 years of experience in investment banking with a focus on special situations, restructurings and turnaround advisory. Prior to Monroe, Mr. Weinberg was a Director at KPMG Corporate Finance, LLC where he was responsible for advising private equity sponsors, senior/mezzanine lenders and middle-market companies negotiate operational and/or financial restructurings. Prior to KPMG Corporate Finance, Mr. Weinberg was a Senior Vice President at Mesirow Financial Consulting and a Vice President at FBR Capital Markets. Mr. Weinberg earned his M.B.A. from George Washington University and his B.A. in International Relations/Business from Michigan State University. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
