Senior Management, Portfolio Management and Underwriting

Mr. Weinberg is a Managing Director, Co-head in the Portfolio Management Group of Monroe Capital. He is responsible for analyzing monthly financials and monitoring trends in company performance within the portfolio.  Mr. Weinberg has over 20 years of experience in investment banking with a focus on special situations, restructurings and turnaround advisory. Prior to Monroe, Mr. Weinberg was a Director at KPMG Corporate Finance, LLC where he was responsible for advising private equity sponsors, senior/mezzanine lenders and middle-market companies negotiate operational and/or financial restructurings. Prior to KPMG Corporate Finance, Mr. Weinberg was a Senior Vice President at Mesirow Financial Consulting and a Vice President at FBR Capital Markets. Mr. Weinberg earned his M.B.A. from George Washington University and his B.A. in International Relations/Business from Michigan State University. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
